‘Discover the UK’ Tourism Terms & Conditions

 
 
1.                  The name ‘Visit Monmouthshire, ‘Discover Monmouthshire’ us’ or ‘we’, ‘our’, all stand for ‘Discover
the UK’ tourism. ‘You’ means the person or business/company either visiting this web site or as
specified on the Private or Business Registration Pages.
           
2.                   By completing any of the ‘Visit Monmouthshire’ Registration Pages ‘You’
accept and agree to our Terms & Conditions.
 
3.                   ‘Discover the UK’ Tourism reserves the right to refuse any advertising for whatever reason.
 
4.                   Without exception, none of the ‘Discover the UK’ Tourism websites are to be copied or distributed
without explicit written permission from ‘us’. Any violation of this will lead to legal proceedings being
initiated.
 
5.                   Any abuse of our system by breaking the Terms & Conditions, may, without prior notice or warning,
lead to the immediate cancellation of your advertisement or agreement without incurring liability for
loss of income or other costs.

and for any reason.
 
7.                   All product, Company names and logos mentioned on our websites are the trademarks, service marks
or trading names of their respective owners, including us. The contents of our websites are protected
by international copyright laws and other intellectual property rights.
 
8.         From January 1st 1978, ‘The Business Advertisement Disclosure Order of 1977’ came into effect in the
            United Kingdom. This Order requires that all sellers of goods in the course of business, must ensure 
            that the fact is clear whether an advertisement refers to a sale by a Private Seller or a Trader. It is the
            responsibility of an advertiser to comply with this order.You may be liable to prosecution if you do not
            declare that you are a trader.
 
9               Any Advertiser (Private or Business) shall indemnify ‘Discover the UK’ Tourism against all Actions,
      Suits, Claims, Demands, Costs, Charges, Damages, Losses and Expenses suffered or incurred due
      to or arising out of  the advertising by ‘us’ of any advertisement for the advertiser, including (without
      limitation) any claim for deformation or the infringement of any third parties copyright other intellectual
            property rights.

            material at these websites that may be viewed as     Unlawful, Threatening, Abusive, Obscene, Adult-content,
            Vulgar,     uncomplimentary, Pornographic or Indecent to others. Nor Transmit or post any Data or Software,
            which contains a Virus or other Malicious content.     
  2.         Limitation of liability. Under no circumstances shall ‘Discover the UK’ Tourism, Affiliates, Agents,
            Contractors, Directors or Staff, be liable for     any Incidental or special consequential damages under or
            arising from this     agreement. ‘Discover the UK’ Tourism will not be held responsible for ‘you’ or any internet
            site linked to this website, whether for negligence, or     any cause of accusation without limitation, any liability
            for damages caused     or allegedly caused by lack of performance, error, omission, interruption, electrical 
            surge/ damage, deletion, defect, delay in operation or     transmission, computer virus, communication line failure,
            breakdown of     equipment, software error, infringement, unavailable access to, or theft, destruction, alteration,
            or use of, records.
     
  3.         All Product names mentioned herein are the Trademarks of their respective owners. ‘Discover the UK’ Tourism
            also prohibits the storage of any data     that infringes copyright or trademarks. The Advertisements shown
                on any ‘Discover the UK’ Tourism Website are solely for advertising purposes, and should be treated as such.
            If deemed necessary all copy may be edited at the     ‘Discover the UK’ Tourism’s discretion. All material on the
            ‘Discover the     UK’ Tourism websites are advertised in good faith and it is emphasised that ‘Discover the UK’ 
            Tourism do not in any circumstances accept     responsibility for the accuracy or otherwise of any
            advertisement     or message displayed.
     
  4.         In no event do we accept liability of any description, including any type of negligence for any damages
           whatsoever resulting from loss of use. Nor     damages or negligence arising out of or in connection with the
           advertising,     use or performance of its contents. If you have any problem with the E-commerce transaction
           system then we shall endeavour to put it right.

            Statement and we are also Registered with     the United Kingdom Government under the 1998 Data
            Protection Act.
